England Ladies on Top!

The England Ladies carp team were yet again successful in the home international match the Anglo Welsh Cup this week.

Hosted at Drayton Reservoir in Daventry, the competition is fished under strict FIPSEd rules in preparation for the world championships next year. In total 81 fish were landed by the lionesses with the largest being a 20lb 2oz mirror to the rods of Lyn Worster and Kellie Margerrison. Zig tactics during the day and small PVA bags on the deck during the night paid dividends for the ladies, who took two section wins out of three. The final scores saw England come away with five points and Wales close behind on four points.
